Gita Adhyaya 12.8
Krishna says ~
मय्येव मन आधत्स्व मयि बुद्धिं निवेशय |
निवसिष्यसि मय्येव अत ऊर्ध्वं न संशय:।।
Fix your mind on me (मय्येव मन आधत्स्व) and surrender your intellect to Me (मयि बुद्धिं निवेशय),
thereafter (अत ऊर्ध्वं), You shall always live in Me (निवसिष्यसि मय्येव).
There is no doubt in that
(न संशय:).
When the Intelligence is consistently conscious of the SELF and the thoughts are invariably engrossed in the SELF, it leads one to a state of intense emotions for the SELF, in the form of deep DEVOTION.
Thus, one can focus on the SELF through Mind and Intellect . . But it is only through DEVOTION that one ‘embraces’ and ‘experiences’ the pure Divine SELF.
It is like an intense love affair with no barriers.
